General
Service
We undertake repairs on or
off site on most types of Sheet Metal or Fabricating Machinery through our
wholly owned company KINGHORN MACHINERY. With machine tool maintenance and
service, this is undertaken by our sister company FIELDHOUSE INDUSTRIAL
SERVICES. We are able to offer programmed maintenance contracts to suit
customer's specific requirements. From our workshop we offer Milling,
Turning, Grinding, Slotting, Welding plus other
general engineering practices.
HS236 Thorough and
Periodic Inspections
This is a legal
requirement on all Mechanical Presses and Press Brakes. It requires a Safety
Inspection every six months. This service can be scheduled to fit in with
customer requirements. Flywheel removal and Clutch disclosure in conjunction
with associated Insurance Companies as above is available on a fixed
price basis.
Guarantee
All service and maintenance contracted is guaranteed and is undertaken by our
skilled service engineers. We employ at present six Mechanical Engineers and
two Electronic/Electrical Engineers. On completion of any on site service, a
designated officer from the customer must sign our " Service
Report Sheet " to show they are satisfied with the work undertaken. This
paperwork also meets the demands of PUWER Legislation.
Fixed Price
We offer fixed prices for specific types of contracts, i.e. Guillotine Blade
Changes, HS236 Inspections, Brake Stop Timings etc.
These are set charges where the customer knows in advance what he will have
to pay.
Service Contracts
Service contracts are designed to take away the worry of routine scheduled
maintenance. We recommend in conjunction with the customer a set schedule for
Pre Planned Maintenance be it monthly, twice yearly or other. Should a breakdown occur within the period
of the Service Agreement, we guarantee to have an engineer on site within a
twenty-four hour period. (Conditions apply)
Guillotine
Shear Blades
Regrinding, replacement and refitting. Blades can be manufactured to suit any
make and size of guillotine shear. Contract maintenance and service on all
makes of guillotines.
